WROOM-32 DEVKIT V1 is an ESP32 processor development board with WiFi and Bluetooth (BLE). It is much faster than the ESP8266 processor (NodeMCU and similar), and very easy to use, with 2x15 pins.

ESP8266 Thing Dev board from Sparkfun is a reliable, strong solution for IoT projects. The ESP8266 is a well-known WiFi controller from the boards such as NodeMcu and or WeMos. This board increases the reliability to maximum though. This version comes without headers.

The module is compatible with Series 1, Series 2.5 and standard Pro version with voltage regulator functioning with the current up to 500 mA.

You can easily control any device over the Internet through your phone, computer, etc.
The module can handle 5 users at the same time, it can work in two modes: STA (client) and AP (access point).
In AP mode, the module is connected via WIFI directly to your phone or computer (in open field can be up to 300 meters).
In STA mode, the relay module is connected to the access point (router) that supplies the network.
Wi-Fi in the room where the relays are located. In this case, the range mainly depends on the power of the access point antennas (routers).
You should not turn off after the configuration is completed, as some of the parameters of the WIFI module cannot be saved when power is cut off.
