Lilypad Matching Conductive Sewing Thread Wearable

This thread is designed to be used in Wearables projects because it provides a very firm grip on the fabric to be sewn.
What differentiates this thread from another thread is the fact that it is actually spun from this stainless steel fiber. This means that while it may not be easy to weld since it is steel, it also does not burn when you touch it with a soldering iron.
It is suitable for sewing machine (like a bobbin thread) it is particularly tense, which means that it firmly grasps the fabric and is not slippery. Lilypad Matching Conductive Sewing Thread Wearable features:

Lilypad 328 Main Board ATmega328

The LilyPad development card is built with an ATmega 328 microcontroller, which has an Arduino bootloader.
It has a minimum number of components to keep a small size and allow the user a neat job and as small as possible.
LilyPad is designed to be easily integrated into clothing, e-textiles and "Wearables" projects. This card works from 2 to 5V. It presents an automatic reset for even easier programming.
The back of the LilyPad is completely flat.
It has a surface mount programming connector so that the head has a correct contact. Each LilyPad was creatively designed to have large connecting pads that allow it to be cooked to any garment.

Lilypad Arduino compatible USB ATmega32u4 Board

The LilyPad Arduino USB is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega32u4.
It has 9 digital input / output pins (of which 4 can be used as PWM outputs and 4 as analog inputs), an 8 MHz resonator, a micro USB connection, a JST connector for a 3.7V LiPo battery and a power button. restart
It contains everything necessary to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or a battery to start.

Lilypad Power Supply 5V Step Up with AAA Batteries

This module is a small source of energy, this board was designed to be as small and as indiscreet as possible.
Putting a battery type AAA and operating the power switch, will have a supply of 5 V to power a lilypad circuit.
Use up to 200ma, it is protected against short circuits. This card has AAA battery clips but can use a 1.2V to 5V input, the module increases the voltage up to 5V.

LiPower Battery Booster Module 5V Output Lilypad

The good thing about LiPower is the ability to use rechargeable lithium polymer batteries.
These batteries are smaller, flatter and last much longer than an AAA battery.
Connect a single-cell LiPo battery, turn on the power switch and you will have a 5V supply to power your LilyPad network. It can deliver the current up to 150mA. Protected against the short circuit.
This board has a JST connector, which will be connected to single cell LiPo batteries terminated in JST.
It also has terminals for charging the LiPo battery with LiPo chargers. Each LilyPad was creatively designed to have large connection pads that allow them to sew on clothes.

Technology Lilypad

Lilypad is a simple but very practical and creative invention. Through minimizing the format of a popular microcontroller board and enabling the conductive thread, Lilypad took Arduino to the world of fashion and wearables. You can now connect components and sew them on to your textile projects in an easy and straight-forward way. It might a great entry level for the youngest adepts of electronics and makes learning even more fun. In addition to the intuitive and easy to navigate design of the board Sparkfun in cooperation with Arduino, have developed a range of materials and tutorials that can help educators introduce the board to their classes almost straight away!

Tutorials Lilypad

Sparkfun is well-known for their masterfully arranged materials on the hardware itself as well as on projects for selected boards and modules. It is the same for Lilypad where they have prepared a detailed class curriculum and a guidebook, so that you don´t really have to come up with the classes yourself. You just need to learn the materials from the guidebook (link to the guidebook is featured in each of our product descriptions) and build on that. Sounds easy? Because it is much easier than any other ecosystem and that is the strength of it
