Description:

Gravity: Starter Kit for Arduino is a plug&play electronics toolkit that provides Arduino beginners and makers with the easiest experience of learning and playing with the Arduino platform. The Gravity Kit presented here is equipped with numerous electronic components, such as a motherboard that works with the Arduino Uno - DFRduino Uno v3. This is the most important part for project creation. Also enclosed is the DFRobot Gravity IO Expansion shield for Arduino.

Gravity Starter Kit includes a DFRduino UNO R3 microcontroller, which works exactly like Arduino UNO, and 12 of the most popular and interesting electrical components and sensors. With the IO expansion shield, the sensors can be connected directly to the board without jumper wires or breadboard cables. The sensors in the kit belong to DFRobot's Gravity series. These sensors are built highly modular and interface with 3-pin pinhead microcontrollers. In addition, the different types of sensors can be easily identified by the logo printed on the back of the PCB. All components included in the kit are fully compatible with Arduino microcontrollers. With Gravity Starter Kit, making your project will be as easy as building blocks.

The Gravity Starter Kit also comes with a tutorial, which aims to help Arduino students understand Arduino programming. The tutorial goes through the installation of the software, the Arduino IDE and its programming language, and then teaches you how to build electrical circuits, how to use the various electrical components and their signalling. It also includes instructions on how to build projects from lighting one LED to eventually using multiple components to make a real project such as a "Fire Alarm" or "Weather Station". The tutorial is full of graphics and is written in a simple way so that anyone can build their own project using the Gravity Starter Kit without any difficulty.

Illustrated manual

The manufacturer provides a comprehensive .pdf user guide to help you install the software, teach you how to write a sketch (Arduino Sketch and includes 8 projects using the sensors included in the kit). Each of these projects introduces the user to the world of Arduino. The projects are described in great detail. They all start by identifying the necessary components. The description itself includes wiring diagrams and program code, and a detailed discussion of which part is responsible for what. The guide is illustrated and is ideal for beginners.
