Working principle:

It is based on the principle of laser dispersion:

Light scattering can be induced when particles pass through the detection area. The scattered light is transformed into electrical signals, then these signals will be amplified and processed. The number and diameter of the particles can be obtained by analysis because the waveform of the signal has certain relationships with the diameter of the particles.
