ST-LINK V2 is a debugger and programmer for the STM8 and STM32 family of microcontrollers. The programmer uses the SWIM (Single Wire Interface Module) and JTAG/SWD (Serial Wire Debugging) interfaces and the STM8 or STM32 microcontroller must be placed on the application board. STM8 applications use the Full Speed USB interface to communicate with ST Visual Develop (STVD) or ST Visual Program (STVP) software. They also use the Full Speed USB interface to communicate with the Atollic, IAR, Keil or TASKING embedded development environments.

ST-LINK V2 features:

- Supports 1.65V to 5.5V application voltage on SWIM interface
