LCD Display Screen 5V Blue Backlight 8x2 JMD0802B 2 White Characters

This little PCB piece is a great independent display addition to any project. Why independent? Well, it features an ATmega328P AVR on its back, making it a pretty much an UNO with a screen rather than a screen itself.

We have the same screen with a reverse color version, i.e. RGB on black with a reference of SP028

The display is compatible with the PCD8544 controller.
Ideal for projects with ARDUINO.

It is made up of a 16-character, 2-row, 6-button display.
The display is compatible with the HD44780 controller and is connected in 4-bit mode so it can be used directly through the Arduino LiquidCrystal library.

It is the freshest serial LCD from SparkFun. Similarly to other SparkFun LCD screens it is put on single board with a microcontroller, however in contrast to the other screens in our offer (SP027 and SP028) it is based on PIC16F88 rather than ATmega328.

It works exactly the same and with the same libraries as an LCD1602.
