Arduino Bluetooth Wireless Module 4.0 CC2541 Android IOS HM-10 BLE description

This module enables the microcontroller to connect wirelessly to a large number of devices via Bluetooth and to exchange serial data. As a slave module, PCs, mobile phones (Android (from 4.3), Windows Mobile and also APPLE without additional circuitry!) can use the serial connection to a microcontroller, e.g. an Arduino. The communication is bidirectional, so it can send and receive. The HM10 supports Bluetooth 4.0 (low energy) and therefore has a relatively low power consumption. It can connect to the RX and TX pins of the microcontroller at the 3V3 logic level and convert the required serial connection into a radio connection. Devices can then be "paired" with the module and, thanks to the encryption and pin, the connection is protected. Parameters are configured via AT commands from the microcontroller. For example, the baud rate, PIN, mode, but also the name of the module can be changed, which becomes visible during pairing. The Texas Instruments CC2541 chip used allows the transmit power to be adjusted via AT commands.
