We are pleased to introduce a new member of the Gravity family: The Gravity I2C SD2405 RTC module. It is an extremely accurate crystal-compensated I2C real-time clock (RTC) with internal rechargeable battery. The SD2405AL is available in industrial temperature ranges.
The SD2405AL is a dual power supply system. When the primary power supply drops to an assigned value or resumes from low power, the system can switch between the primary power supply and the battery automatically. Even without external power, it can continue to operate for 5~8 years, with ultra-low power consumption of 1uA (internal battery, Ta=25°C).
The SD2405AL can generate several long-duration (one year) periodic snooze clock pulses, and three alarm snoozes per year, month, date, days of the week, hours and minutes, seconds can be realised. It also provides a selectable clock output of 32.768KHz~1Hz for an external MCU. The product incorporates a time trimming circuit that adjusts the clock more accurately by adjusting any errors in the crystal oscillator frequencies based on the CPU signals. A general 12-byte SRAM is implemented in the SD2405AL.
