This 2.5mm female jack connector adapter soldered on a PCB board, is ideal for use in our projects.
It has connection points where we can easily solder some pins to connect it directly to a breadboard, or solder a cable over those same connection points.

The good thing about LiPower is the ability to use rechargeable lithium polymer batteries.
These batteries are smaller, flatter and last much longer than an AAA battery.
Connect a single-cell LiPo battery, turn on the power switch and you will have a 5V supply to power your LilyPad network. It can deliver the current up to 150mA. Protected against the short circuit.
This board has a JST connector, which will be connected to single cell LiPo batteries terminated in JST.
It also has terminals for charging the LiPo battery with LiPo chargers. Each LilyPad was creatively designed to have large connection pads that allow them to sew on clothes.
