4-channel digital mixed-signal oscilloscope with 16 digital channels. Bandwidth 70 MHz, real time sampling rate 8 GSa/s, 9" colour display, 200 Mpts memory and the ability to record up to 500,000 oscillograms/second.

The MSO5000 series is a high performance, multifunctional digital oscilloscope designed based on Rigol's UltraVision II technology.

The MSO5000 series digital oscilloscope launched by RIGOL this time integrates 7 independent instruments in 1, including a digital oscilloscope, a spectrum analyser, a 16-channel logic analyser, an arbitrary waveform generator, a digital voltmeter, a high-precision frequency counter, and an accumulator and protocol analyser.

RIGOL MSO5074 digital oscilloscope is suitable for industrial testing, equipment maintenance in the process of operation, research and all kinds of works requiring analogue/digital testing, educational purposes.

Features of Rigol MSO5074 Oscilloscope:

  • Bandwidth: 70 MHz.
  • 4 analogue channels + 16 digital channels.
  • Real-time analogue channel sampling rate: 8 GSa/s (one channel).
  • Memory: 200 Mpts.
  • Innovative UltraVision II technology.
  • 9" LCD colour screen.
  • Remote control.
  • Compact and lightweight design, easy to use.
  • Available interfaces: USB HOST&DEVICE, LAN(LXI), HDMI, TRIG OUT, and USB-GPIB.
  • HDMI output for external displays.
  • Advanced software options (optional).

Touch screen

The 9-inch capacitive multi-touch screen supports various touch gestures, so it always keeps up with the main development trend for display operation. Meanwhile, the MSO5000 series digital oscilloscope maintains the knob and key operation as that of traditional RIGOL digital oscilloscopes, greatly optimising the user-friendly interactive experience.

Super high sample bandwidth ratio

Bandwidth and sample rate are two key technical specifications that engineers prioritise when choosing a digital oscilloscope. The MSO5000 Series provides a maximum real-time sampling rate of 8 GSa/s and a sample rate / bandwidth ratio of 23X for a bandwidth of 350 MHz, which is well ahead of products at the same level.

500,000 wfms/s capture rate

Engineers often have to spend a lot of time and effort to troubleshoot in design and debug. Therefore, a proper debugging tool will help engineers work more efficiently. The MSO5000 series digital oscilloscope can provide a waveform capture rate of up to 500,000 wfms/s, so that faults and rare events in waveforms can be identified quickly, greatly improving debugging efficiency for engineers.

256-level current rating

The 256-level intensity classification display can reflect the occurrence frequencies of rare events. Its newly added colour persistence function can highlight the signal of different probabilities with different colour gradation. You can set the persistence time to control the duration time of waveforms to be displayed on the screen, so that the display capability of rare events can be further enhanced.

Full memory automatic measurement

Automatic measurement is the basic tool for engineers to perform rapid signal analysis and requires a more efficient measurement process and accurate measurement results. MSO5000 supports hardware full-memory automatic measurement, provides measurement of 41 waveform parameters, supports statistics display and analysis of 10-element measurement results.

Bode Plot

The stability of the switch power supply affects the reliability of the entire system. The MSO5000 series can generate the sweep signal of the specified range by controlling the built-in signal generator module and send the signal to the switch power supply to perform the loop analysis test. The Bode diagram generated from the test can show the gain and phase variations of the system at different frequencies, allowing engineers to get a clear view of the Bode diagram data. By analysing the phase margin (PM), gain margin (GM) and other parameters, they can judge whether the system is stable.

Pass/Fail Test

The MSO5000 series is equipped with the hardware pass/fail test function as standard configuration, which can be used in signal monitoring for a long time, signal monitoring during design, and signal testing on the production line. You can set the test mask according to the known "standard" waveform and then compare the signal under test with the "standard" waveform to display the statistics of the test results.

Enhanced FFT analysis

The MSO5000 series can analyse 1 Mpts FFT, which improves the frequency resolution greatly, which is convenient to better analyse the disturbance noise in the circuit under test. To adjust the spectrum waveforms to be observed, set the centre frequency and span; or set the start frequency and stop frequency.

A variety of protocol triggers and decodes

The MSO5000 Series digital oscilloscope provides powerful trigger functions, including edge trigger, pulse trigger, slope trigger, video trigger, pattern trigger, duration trigger, timeout trigger, run trigger, window trigger, delay trigger, set/hold trigger, Nth Edge trigger and serial protocol trigger. These triggers can help engineers accurately and quickly capture and identify signals of high interest. Optional serial protocol decoding is capable of decoding 4 serial buses simultaneously. Full memory data analysis and decode event table display can help engineers quickly discover system fault and locate symbol error waveforms, greatly improving the debugging efficiency of overall system signals. The MSO5000 series also provides optional decodes such as RS232 / UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN, I2S, FlexRay,
