The micro:bit is a pocket computer that can be coded, personalised and controlled to implement digital ideas and games. It measures just 4x5cm and features a fun and easy to use design, so users can create anything from games and animations to slick stories at school, at home or anywhere - all that's needed is imagination and creativity. It is fully programmable. This means that each of its LEDs can be individually programmed as can its buttons, inputs and outputs, accelerometer, magnetometer, Bluetooth 5.0 technology, microphone and speaker.

With this new version, you have more possibilities of interaction. Create musical games thanks to its new microphone and speaker included. Use the new touch button to control your ideas, in addition to its two previous buttons. It includes a battery saving mode and a faster processor.

It contains 1 micro:bit and a Quick Start Guide in the same package, making it the ideal solution for starting to create projects with the BBC micro:bit and inventing solutions (requires a USB cable for programming, a battery holder and 2 AAA batteries for powering the BBC micro:bit if not connected to a computer - sold separately).
