Power

It is recommended that the board be powered through the jack connection with a regulated 5 VDC at 4000 mA power supply included in the box.

There is an onboard voltage regulator for higher voltages that protects the Braccio shield.

*NOTE: The protection does not work for the Arduino Yun if you put the bridge between Vin and 5V on the Robot Arm Shield V1 (larger version of the so-called Braccio Shield and has a power switch on top of the Shield)
