Arduino Modules

If Arduino is the brain, sensors are the nose, eyes, and ears, modules could be compared in one sense to the hands, mouth, and feet of our project. But since a robot cannot be directly compared to a human, in the modules we also include communication modules (RF, Bluetooth, WiFi), amplifiers, translators and screens. An Arduino alone is already a powerful tool, however, to reveal its true and complete power you have to complete it with modules. Whether it's a buzzer, MP3 player module, a display or any other - those modules will show you what the Arduino can achieve. Arduino modules are a crucial part of our offering, which we are continually expanding - watch for it and look forward to hearing from you often.

Bus Pirate - v3.6a

This little board is great for any type of prototyping - enables troubleshooting and debugging of any board with voltage from 0 to 5.5V. The  board interprets the commands and sends them further via a proper protocol (ranging from UART through I2C up to HDD44780 LCD). The Pirate lets analyze as well the data sent back from the device to the computer terminal effectively allowing to decipher potential errors. The bootloader installed on the board enables the quick and easy update of firmware and changing the functionality of the board.

This board features PIC24FJ64 and FT232RL USB-to-serial chip enabling swift communication over the mini-B USB port. On the other end of the board 2x5 pin header is placed with detailed descriptions of each pin.

Arduino communication modules

Assuming that we haven´t yet mastered AI programming to the maximum, and our robot still requires certain instructions from us, we will definitely need a way of communicating with it. The same goes for the projects in which more than one device has to work in cooperation. Thankfully, a range of companies, including Adafruit and Sparkfun, has delivered us an almost unlimited set of modules that will enable us to do that. Modules Arduino WiFi, modules Bluetooth, modules RF all serve the same purpose, nonetheless depending on the conditions you want to use your project in, one might have several advantages over the others. Revise our materials on blog and tutorials to learn about the benefits of each.

Whichever you chose, be that standard ESP8266 o DS1307, we definitely have it.

Arduino video cameras

Now that your robot is equipped with a communication module, it can give you back information however it still needs a way to collect it and show it to you (unless you believe you can receive Bluetooth signal yourself). For the first application, you will need sensors, which we cover extensively in the sensor section, or other input devices such as cameras and microphones. For the second application (being able to give you back information), the screen is the most basic device (obviously can be coupled with speakers). We can offer you a wide range of screens and speakers as well as cameras from a variety of producers including Sparkfun, Adafruit, Pololu. Search our offer and see if you can find what you need
